TRAUMA WORK

Therapy involves not only understanding the trauma, but also the gradual release of the emotional, mental and physical blocks it has left within us.

★★★★ The aim of individual therapy is to support the client in deepening their self-awareness, recognizing their own needs, and finding balance in both relationships and personal life. Therapy helps uncover and gradually shift destructive behavioral patterns, while also providing support in coping with inevitable losses and life situations that cannot be changed. This contributes to greater emotional release, inner freedom, and an improved quality of life. The process includes not only understanding the roots of one’s challenges but also developing tools for emotional regulation and strengthening the ability to face difficult situations.

★★★★ I often work with the concept of the Not-Self Core Story—a part of our personality that was created as a protective mechanism in response to painful or threatening situations. It's a set of beliefs, patterns, and reactions that once helped us survive trauma or difficulty. Over time, however, these beliefs become limiting, no longer reflecting our true potential or authenticity. Part of the process involves working with the body’s energy field to reconnect mind, emotion, and body. Trauma is often not just stored in the mind, but also in the body—leaving imprints in the form of tension, rigidity, or blocked energy.

★★★★ The client learns to recognize the current state of their nervous system and gains practical tools to regulate it and restore inner balance. A healthy nervous system is flexible—it can respond to stress and then return to calm. A chronically dysregulated nervous system, on the other hand, remains trapped in constant defense mode—either tense or in fight/flight. This results in long-term overload, trauma, and an inability to naturally relax. The goal of therapeutic work is to support the capacity to return to a state of calm and safety.

★★★★ This form of therapy allows for a deep exploration of the client’s emotional world and behavior patterns that may stem from past experiences. Through a gradually built therapeutic relationship, the client has the opportunity to experience a healing - corrective experience. This bond offers the support and understanding that may have been missing in the past, becoming a foundation for emotional repair and transformation.
