In Human Design, we have 4 basic types: generator, manifestor, projector, reflector. These types differ primarily in the mechanics of their aura.
It communicates for us. When we enter a space, we create a certain impression with our presence. Our aura carries all the information that is in our design.
GENERATOR: 70% of the population
The path to mastery for Generators is through settling into the sacred center. Their aura is open, accepting, and embracing. It takes on life.
According to HD mechanics, Generators can be: Emotional Generator, Manifesting Generator, Intuitive Generator, Emotional Manifesting Generator and Pure Generator.
GENERATORS are energetically powerful individuals. They are here to identify with the activity they do, not with what they think about themselves. They have the ability to create more and more energy by being immersed in the activity they love. They are the great creators who build this world. The power that Generators are endowed with comes from their defined sacral center. The sacral center (lower abdomen) is the engine for life energy, vitality, energy for work, fertility and sex.

The principle of creativity in generators is always the same. If you respond to life and your creative power brings you satisfaction. You will even be surprised at what comes out of you. And you will quickly realize that you are not the one creating anything, you are just enabling it. But when you initiate from a point where the mind needs to do or accomplish something, you only attract to yourself enormous expectations and too much responsibility, and in the end your manifestation will fail. When the Generator follows its sacred intelligence, it eliminates frustration in its system and achieves satisfaction and pleasure. At the same time, if the Generator initiates action from the mind and there is no sacred response, nor sufficient energy and emotional clarity, it creates frustration and thus continues to maintain its position as a slave in the world.
Generators are here to care for and know themselves. They have learned to respect their own authority, appreciate their own energy, embody and spread joy, and be in touch with their bodies. They are not here to initiate action from the mind, thereby creating and spreading their own frustration.
MANIFESTOR: 8% of the population
Freedom and Independence
are key to the Manifestor. When the Manifestor is not free in his action and allows others to tell him what to do and how to do it, anger grows within him and he deprives himself of his power.

Emotional Manifestor, Ego Manifestor and Intuitive Manifestor.
MANIFESTORS are individuals who set things in motion. They are here to initiate and their actions have an impact on other people and the world around them. They ignite a creative spark with what they do and what they say. Their voice has influence and they are lightning fast and dynamic in their action. Manifestors are here to know who and how to focus their influence. They are here to influence others with their energy and educate them, naturally embody peace, not afraid of rejection, meet and integrate their anger and enjoy being alone from time to time, like a wolf.

THE PATH TO MASTERY FOR MANIFESTORS is to inform those affected of their actions and intentions before they take action. They need to take their lives into their own hands. They are conditioned not to inform and think it is beneath them to tell anyone what they intend to do. For this reason, they usually have trouble informing others.
Manifestors know very well what it is like to feel rejected. Their aura is withdrawn and works to push things out, to push away. If the Manifestor informs before taking action, they easily eliminate the resistance they encounter in others and at the same time buy the peace they desire.
The strategy for a manifesting child is to learn to ask permission before taking action. But when the manifester grows up, he no longer needs permission. He should not ask anyone for anything, he just needs to announce what he plans to do. Not in the sense of, “Please, I could do this...or, I can do this…”, but more in the sense of, “I plan to do this...I will do this…”
PROJECTOR: 21% of the population
Projectors have an extraordinary gift for reading energies and knowing how to direct them for the good of all humanity. Their main card is intelligence. They are here to guide the energies of others when you feel recognized.
According to HD mechanics, Projectors can be: Emotional Projector, Intuitive Projector, Ego Projector, Self-Projecting Projector and Mental Projector
PROJECTORS are here to read, guide and direct the energy of others. Projectors recognize themselves by recognizing other people.
RELATIONSHIP is the key word for them, as they are there for others. Their aura is attention-grabbing, penetrating, and focused on the other.

THE PATH TO MASTERY FOR A PROJECTOR is a journey of observing, listening, and reading the energies of others while waiting to be recognized for their specific potential. Waiting for the right invitation brings Projectors a sense of accomplishment and relieves them of the bitterness of not being recognized by others.
Projectors are not made to generate energy. They have an innate ability to study, organize, and quickly understand any system.
They are non-energetic types who easily exhaust their energy if they work consistently and hard for long periods of time. They should be aware of energy and not identify with the energy of others, otherwise they may have difficulty being recognized for their gifts and talents.
Instead of putting in a lot of effort and comparing themselves to energetic types by working hard and giving unsolicited advice, they should relax, focus on studying, and actively wait by observing life, its principles, and magic.
REFLECTOR: 1% of the population
Reflectors are here to recognize what is interesting and different. They are not here to be bored with life and overwhelmed with emotion and energy. They are here to become wise and objective observers of constant change.
REFLECTOR are very rare individuals. They do not have a constant energy in any of the centers in their charts, they are completely open. Reflectors are focused on the whole, on We, not on I or You. They reflect the consciousness of the group, the environment and the place where they are at the moment. They are like a mirror

Their aura is as durable as Teflon and reflects other auras. On a daily level, they are influenced by planetary programs and transits much more than other types. They absorb the energies that come through planetary transits and changes in the environment and reflect them back.
THE PATH TO MASTERY FOR REFLECTORS is to always see something interesting and extraordinary in everyday life and in people, something that can surprise them. The key word for REFLECTORS is PLACE.
